Tanzania Safari and Tours for Every Traveler

Safari is a Swahili word that means journey. When you are planning for a lifetime African holiday, Tanzania Safari is the best option. We will start by helping you make sure that you choose the right package based on the number of people traveling with you, the type of attractions you like to see and your budget for the whole trip.

We have packages for every traveler, starting from low budget camping safaris, midrange lodge safaris and luxury safaris. Our guests have the freedom to customize any package to suit their preferences and budget. What is important to us is to make sure we fulfill your dream.

When you join us on safari you will be met at the airport, taken to a hotel or a central meeting point and briefed before you set off. You will be transported in a well-maintained, clean Toyota 4×4 safari vehicle, driven by a professional local guide in areas that will leave you breathless with wonder and excitement. You will search for the ‘Big Five’ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino – and will be amazed by the sheer beauty of grass-covered savannas, extinct volcanoes and rare birds. You will see animals, landscapes and flowers and you will meet the local people and taste local food.

When is the Best Time for Tanzania Safari?

The best time to travel to Tanzania is during the dry season from late June to October. Tanzania has two distinct rainy seasons: April to May (the ‘long rains’) and November to December (the ‘short rains’). Generally, the country’s ‘long rains’ produce tropical downpours in the afternoons and some Tanzania safari camps may close. The ‘short rains’ bring about the occasional brief shower.

Most safari areas in Tanzania enjoy warm days and cool evenings year-round. While temperatures drop to below freezing on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, the country’s Indian Ocean coast and lakeside regions are hot and humid.

The best time for a safari in Tanzania will depend on where you want to go and what you want to see. For first-time safari goers, the best time to go to Tanzania is usually during the dry season, as wildlife is easier to track and spot. Whether you’re visiting Tanzania for the first time, understanding the difference between the safari high season vs low season is a great place to start.
